Paul and Adoption are the Subjects of Dr. Watson’s New Book 

Dr. Edward Watson, chair of the undergraduate theology and missions department, has a new book titled Paul, His Roman Audience, and the Adopted People of God. The book is published by Edwin Mellen Press. The book argues that the use of the metaphor of adoption as a literary construct in Romans would have aided Paul’s intended audience in the understanding of their Christian experience both in the present and at the eschaton.
